Chenoa has the ability to communicate with the invisible worlds, to enter into a trance and to access states of expanded consciousness to connect to sources of wisdom and healing. This gift is considered a form of energy sensitivity.

Shamanism is based on the idea that everything in the universe is connected, and that the spirits of ancestors, animals, plants and elements can be invoked and communicate with the shaman to provide answers, advice and healing to those who need it. The gift of shamanism therefore entails great responsibility, as the shaman is seen as a healer, counselor and protector for his community.
